FindSharper reviews software around a simple principle: start with the business problem, then assess whether a tool solves it well enough to justify its cost, complexity and fit for the intended user.
Our reviews and comparisons are designed primarily for small businesses and service companies. We do not treat the longest feature list as automatically better, and affiliate relationships do not determine our editorial conclusions.
Our review process
We evaluate a product using publicly available product documentation, pricing and plan information, help-center resources, integrations, product demonstrations or trials when available, and other relevant evidence. We also consider how the product fits a real small-business workflow rather than evaluating features in isolation.
FindSharper scoring framework
When a comparison uses a numeric score, the total is calculated on a 100-point scale using six weighted criteria. The weighting reflects what typically matters most to a small business choosing operational software.
| Criterion | Weight | What we evaluate |
|---|---|---|
| Core functionality | 25% | How well the product performs the main job it is designed to do. |
| Ease of use | 20% | Setup, navigation, workflow clarity, mobile usability and training burden. |
| Small-business fit | 20% | Suitability for small teams, practical workflows, scalability and unnecessary complexity. |
| Integrations & ecosystem | 15% | Quality and relevance of integrations, data flow and compatibility with common business tools. |
| Pricing transparency & value | 10% | Clarity of pricing, plan limitations, add-on costs and value relative to the intended use case. |
| Support & onboarding | 10% | Help resources, onboarding options, customer support access and implementation requirements. |
How we interpret scores
A higher score does not mean a product is the best choice for every business. A platform may score very well overall but still be a poor fit for a very small team, a company with a specific integration requirement, or a business that needs a simpler workflow.
- 90–100: Excellent fit for the intended use case, with few meaningful compromises.
- 80–89: Strong option with some limitations or tradeoffs to consider.
- 70–79: Good for specific users or workflows, but not the strongest general recommendation.
- Below 70: Significant limitations for the use case being evaluated.
Use case comes before rank
Our comparison tables may name products as “best for” a particular situation — for example, best for a small team, best for advanced dispatch, or best for sales-focused workflows. These labels are based on fit for that use case, not on commission rates or partner status.
Pricing and product information
Software changes quickly. Pricing, features, plan names, integrations and policies can change after publication. We aim to use current information at the time of review and may update content when material changes affect our conclusions. Readers should confirm important pricing and contractual details directly with the vendor before purchasing.
Affiliate relationships
Some products we cover have affiliate programs. FindSharper may receive a commission from eligible purchases or sign-ups, at no additional cost to the reader in most cases. A commercial relationship does not guarantee inclusion, a favorable score or a recommendation. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.
